I made this recipe tonight and I couldn’t not share it! It was so delicious and satisfying without large amounts of heavy cream or sugar that most desserts call for. The husband approved too! And as every dietitian says… dessert is still allowed as long as its in moderation and not all the time! The main ingredient is apples which are considered a “superfood” due to their antioxidant properties as well due to their fiber content – one apple contains 5g of fiber which helps promote good gut and bowel health.
